We have been awarded a National Lottery Community Fund grant to reach new and diverse audiences in the Oxford area with restorative approaches.

As part of this funding, we are able to offer the following to local community groups and organisations (tailored to your organisation):

• Listening circles

• Taster/introductory training

• Storytelling sessions

We are particularly keen to work with diverse communities and people who haven’t had prior experience of restorative justice and practice.

Ukraine/Boundary Brook Nature Walk
We ran a session with Ukrainians at Boundary Brook Nature Reserve in collaboration with Refugee Resource and Connection Support. Abi Stevens Stone and Helen Edwards (Oxford Urban Wildlife Group) led a nature walk and reflective practice session.

Children Heard and Seen
Abi Stevens Stone and Hannah Moore supported a Children Heard and Seen residential for children and their families impacted by parental imprisonment. They ran two adult workshops that incorporated storytelling and reflection and explored how to help young people process complex emotions. They also ran a workshop with young people.

Trees and Stories
It was great to have storyteller and restorative justice facilitator Hannah Moore join us at the Oxford Trees of Life community art exhibition at New Road Baptist Church during Oxford Art Weeks. She facilitated a storytelling session telling folk and fairy tales and a storytelling workshop on restorative themes such as exploring how storytelling can support community building, conflict resolution, and restorative justice. We ended the day of stories and creativity with a concert featuring local artists.
